Weekly Message from the Principal

Dear Families,

On Thursday, November 16, we will be hosting our Parent Teacher Conferences from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

As your partners in educating our amazing students, we so grateful every day that you have chosen Lumen Christi to walk alongside your student in their faith and development journey.  We are eager to welcome you on Thursday to talk about your students’ successes, hear your feedback, and discuss any opportunities for your students.

Parents who attend the Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday will earn a Dress Down wristband for their student for the following Tuesday.

We can’t wait to see you!

In the Light of Christ,

Mrs. Kristovic

Citizen of the Year Nominations

From the Jackson Citizen Patriot:  We have begun accepting nominations for our Citizen of the Year awards, which includes a Youth Citizen of the Year. The award is based on community service, not just on academic success or extracurricular school activities, although those are important, too. We look for students who impact their whole community.

While the winner of this award is most often a high school student, it’s open to youths of any age, as long as they have a depth and breadth of community service.

Here is the link to the story explaining how nominations can be made.
