Schedules for semester 2 will be distributed Tuesday morning.  Tuesday morning, students in grades 9-12 should report to their Home base — schedules will be waiting for them there.  Students in grades 7-8 will report to P1 as normal.  Students in grades 9-12 will be dismissed to P1 immediately following prayer and announcements.

Changes to seminar may be made Tuesday, January 16, in the library, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  This is the only time changes may be made, and changes will only be made based on availability.

The deadline for S2 course changes was Thursday, January 11, so no changes may be made to S2 schedules.

Lumen Christi Traditions

From the Main Office:  One of our goals this year is to grow traditions and celebrate students more regularly for all their different accomplishments.  For example, this year, we have started the “State Competition Send-Off”, in which teams heading to state level competitions have a special procession in the school building.  We have been thrilled to honor Girls’ Golf (check out our Facebook page!), Girls’ Cross Country (and Gene Hendrickson!), Drama, and Boys’ Football, Girls’ Cheerleading, and Band so far this year in this new tradition.

With our latest state Championship, we are excited to begin a new celebratory tradition that can grow with all of our programs over the years.  On Sunday, January 21, we will be hosting a community wide event to celebrate the 48th Lumen Christi State title, achieved in Boys’ Football.  The event begins at 3:00 p.m. with a community Mass in the gym, followed by a traditional Tight End Club spaghetti dinner.  Anyone is welcome!  Tickets are $7 per person or $25 for a family of four or more.  Tickets are limited, and can be purchased in the Main Office.  We hope you can join us in recognizing our fabulous young people!

College Planning for Juniors

From Mr. Havlicek: Parents of Juniors: Right before Christmas Break, all Juniors received the JUNIOR PLANNING PACKET for COLLEGE in their email account. This important piece of information to help them begin the College Planning Process will be used during their initial college meeting with Mr. H, held between January and the end of March (Spring Break). It is very important that students and parents are able to look through and work through the packet together BEFORE the meeting so they can be best helped for identifying a direction for college. Email Mr. Havlicek ( with any questions.
