From Diocese of Lansing: If you are looking to be eligible for the Diocese of Lansing tuition assistance grant, you MUST complete your FACTS application!
The deadline is approaching for all documentation to be submitted to FACTS by April 1 2018. Since April 1 is Easter we will extend until Friday April 6th. This would be a good time to review your applications and remind your families to get the required and requested documentation to FACTS.
As a reminder families who do not receive W-2’s and are self employed must submit 2 years of 1040’s they will need 2016 and 2017.
If your family is a DNF for the 1040 they will not be considered for grants. If they are DNF for W-2’s 2017 but file the 1040 they will be considered as long as their application is complete. A family that shows DNF in both columns will not be considered.
From Mrs. Kristovic: Please enjoy your Easter Holiday and spring break! There will be no newsletter on Good Friday or during spring break.
From the Main Office: A reminder that the Bishop gifted us a full day off on Holy Thursday. Wednesday will be the last day before spring break. Enjoy!
From the Deans: Due to the day off on Thursday, detention will be held before and after school on Wednesday. Owed Time will be served that day, as well.
From Mrs. Fleming: Service Hours: Students in grades 9-12 are required to provide 15 Service Hours every year. Please remind your student to look for service opportunities in school announcements, parishes and our community. Many opportunities are listed right now. Service hours are submitted on forms available through our Religion teachers. Please check in with your student on the number of service hours they have submitted and need to complete for this year.
Seniors that have not met their Service hours goal will not be granted Senior Privilege days.
Meeting the Service Hours Goal is a requirement for graduation.
