From Mrs. Kristovic: High School students: please complete your Q2 seminar preference sheet by Wednesday at 8 a.m.  Students will only be allowed to change their preference if they complete the form correctly and on time. New seminars will begin the first week of Q2.  The change date for those wishing to switch their seminar will be during lunch (not seminar time) in the library on Thursday, November 1.  The link to complete your seminar preference is here:

From the Deans: Please stay tuned for dance information!  We currently have a Halloween dance scheduled for Friday, October 26.  However, we will adjust the date and time of the dance in accordance with any playoff football schedule, especially due to a home game.  We will announce any updates as soon as we can!  This is a casual dance and students are encouraged to come in costumes!

From Mr. Ludlow and Senior Squad Leaders:  Friday, October 19 will be our second senior leadership retreat from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please see a senior squad leader or Mr. Ludlow for details.  We hope to see as many of you there as possible!

From Mrs. Kuhl: The LC Interfaith Shelter Project is accepting fresh fruit for the October 16th dinner meal. Apples, oranges, bananas would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at Mrs. Kuhl’s room, 128, Monday or Tuesday. Service hours are available for these donations!

From Mrs. Fleming: Friday, sophomores received results from the ASVAB testing. Each student has received a sign in account for the ASVAB career and college planning site. Score results and your student’s individual interest inventory can be logged into along with links to a wide array of college and job databases. Ask your student to share their score results and Career Exploration guide with you.

Thank you to our juniors and other PSAT test takers for your hard work last Wednesday. A few students still need to pay the $16 test fee.  Please bring in a check to the main office, made to Lumen Christi. PSAT student test results are available in mid December.

From Mr. Havlicek: Seniors and Senior Parents: October 15 Early Action is Monday. It is important for all students to complete their applications as soon as possible to avoid being lumped into the group of students applying at the same time when Nov. 1 rolls around. Any questions, contact Mr. H.
