Homecoming Honors 50 Years of Alumni
Today, we concluded our school week of Homecoming Festivities with our true mission. During our seminar time, our high school “squads” gathered in the football bleachers to honor our 50 years of alumni with a prayer service. As a school community, we prayed for our faith community near and far, in words that Fr. Brian wrote:
We ask you, Father, bless these men and women, our graduates; grant them wisdom through their years. Send your Holy Spirit upon them and make of them one family in your name, and in the name of your Son, Jesus.
Our faith, our family, our tradition, is forever. When we say our mission is to create disciples of Christ, it is not for today, or tomorrow, or this school year, it is for our world for years to come. Our graduates, near and far, mean so much to us because they represent the reason we are here: for our students now to be filled with the Holy Spirit forever.
Forever family, forever Titans. Happy Homecoming!
In the Light of Christ,
