Christ Offers Mercy this Sunday
Last week, we experienced the beauty of the resurrection through Easter.
This Sunday, the octave of Easter ends with Divine Mercy Sunday. On this special feast day first named by Pope John Paul II, Christ offers heaven, in all its fullness, to anyone who attends confession and receives communion as a part of the Mass.
In Jackson, the Catholic community is celebrating the Feast of Divine Mercy at St. Joseph Oratory from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. This celebration is not a Mass, but does include confession, Adoration, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We hope you will consider attending as you celebrate Easter!
