The Lumen Christi Athletic Hall of Fame takes pride in chronicling the rich and storied history of sports at Lumen Christi Catholic High School. The LCAHF has been in existence since 2003. Each year individuals are nominated in one of three categories: Athlete, Coach, and Contributor.  The nomination of individuals for induction is the most integral part of the Hall of Fame process.  Anyone may nominate an individual, living or deceased, into one of the induction categories provided a nomination form is completed; all the required information is complete and complies with the selection guidelines.  All nominees will go through a screening process by a committee composed of Lumen Christi community members and a representative of the media.  Nominations must be received by the LCAHF no later than July 1st of each year.

Eligibility Requirements:

Individuals nominated for selection into the Lumen Christi Athletic Hall of Fame must have a long association with Lumen Christ Catholic High School or has made an outstanding contribution to the cause of sports.

Athlete:
In addition to the above eligibility criteria, an athlete must have:

  1. Achieved a distinguished record at the highest level of his or her area of sports endeavor, with consideration given to integrity, sportsmanship and character.
  2. Participated in sports classification in which he or she is nominated for a minimum of two years and have been out of school a minimum of eight years.

Coach:
In addition to the above eligibility criteria, a coach must have:

  1. Compiled an outstanding record of coaching champions at the level coached (professional, collegiate, high school).
  2. Compiled and extraordinary winning record or have achieved other outstanding accomplishment, with consideration given to integrity, sportsmanship and character
  3. Coached a minimum of ten years at Lumen Christi in an active position and been out of coaching at Lumen Christi for a minimum of eight years.

Contributor:
In addition to the above eligibility criteria, a contributor must have:   

  1. Served the athletic community with special distinction in area including, but not limited to, administration, media, sports medicine, officiating, financial assistance or volunteer time.
  2. Worked within the athletic community in its best interests in an outstanding manner for a minimum or ten years, with consideration given to integrity, sportsmanship and character.
