Lumen Christi LAN

Lumen Christi LAN Club is a computer student interest club. Formally this Club was named PC Troubleshooting and Networking Club although most members and students refer to it as LAN. LAN is an abbreviation for Local Area Networking. The Club was so named because of the computer networking involved.
Our purpose, as a club, is to teach any member of the student body as much about computers as possible. Through the years we have dedicated our time and effort to helping the students of Lumen Christi to better understand technology and furthermore use that information in the world. Not only are we here to serve the students with knowledge but also to help our community with our skills and talents. In a few situations throughout the year we have been asked to help other groups or individuals with problems such as fixing computers. Our members engage in activities such as designing web pages, playing games, creating or upgrading mods for games, and this year for the first time LAN club is building a computer, for club use, from basic parts.

LAN Club meets every Tuesday that we have school (unless otherwise noted) in Mr. Erickson's Chemistry Room 139.
